"HALDiS-C" Luminance Simulator
By displaying it on HALDiS, outdoor experiments and AI learning for autonomous driving, ADAS cameras, and ADB verification can be conducted indoors safely and at a reduced cost.
The HALDiS luminance simulator features two "luminance" display functions: 1. It faithfully reproduces outdoor brightness indoors, and 2. It outputs the luminance (brightness) and color values of input data as absolute values. Unlike conventional monitors that display relative values, it reproduces the brightness of captured outdoor driving data and simulation input results indoors as absolute values in a one-to-one ratio. Additionally, by inputting lamp optical design data, it allows for brightness and color verification, which can also reduce prototype manufacturing costs. The HALDiS luminance simulator is categorized into three series based on technology: [S], [C], and [T]. It is also possible to use the [S], [C], and [T] series in combination by swapping components within the same system (depending on design and installation environment). [Representative Applications] - Camera test bench (capable of verifying HDR cameras) - AI algorithm verification - Glare reproduction for nighttime scenes (high brightness + ultra-high contrast) - Wide-angle camera compatibility (using converter lenses)
